“You're honestly the best. One of the exercises you asked me to do was eye-opening. I was able to do it in seconds, and it made me feel so warm and happy because most of my anxiety is based on being abandoned and having no one there for me. I took such a positive away from that.”

Have Questions about Therapy?
That's completely understandable, and you might have many questions before beginning therapy. Here are the questions new clients often have.
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, disconnected from yourself or others, burnt out, or unsure why things feel “off,” therapy can help. Many people start therapy simply because they want clarity, relief, or support in navigating a season of change.
-
That’s completely okay — and very common. You don’t need a clear goal or perfect language to begin. Therapy is a place to slow down, sort through what you’re feeling, and discover what actually needs attention. Part of the work is figuring out where to start. We'll do this together.
-
No. Therapy isn’t only for diagnoses or major life events. It can be helpful if you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, relationship challenges, self-doubt, or a sense that you’re repeating patterns you don’t fully understand at home and at work. Wanting support and not wanting to navigate challenges alone is reason enough.
-
Support from friends and family is valuable — but it has limits. Therapy offers a neutral and confidential professional space with a licensed expert trained to identify patterns, ask deeper questions, and help you build emotional skills you can use long-term. When something keeps resurfacing or feels hard to manage on your own, professional support can make a meaningful difference
-
Many people delay therapy because they think others have it worse or their problems aren't really "that bad." But therapy isn’t about comparison — it’s about your experience. Ignoring stress, overwhelm, or emotional pain doesn’t make it go away; it often makes problems worse. You deserve support before things reach a breaking point.
-
Sessions are collaborative and paced to meet you where you are. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, notice emotional patterns, and build awareness and tools that help you respond rather than react. You’re never forced to talk about anything before you’re ready.
-
That fear makes sense. Therapy is a place to practice being honest without judgment or pressure. There’s no right or wrong way to show up — and moving at a pace that feels safe is part of the work. You’re always in control of what you share. There is no judgement here.
-
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some people come for short-term support for a specific issue, while others choose ongoing work for deeper growth and self-understanding. We’ll regularly check in to make sure therapy is meeting your needs and goals.
-
You might consider therapy if you feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, reactive in ways you don’t like, disconnected from yourself or others, or if coping strategies that used to work no longer do. You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to get support.
-
Getting started is easy, yet it's often the hardest step — and you don’t have to have everything figured out to take it. You can begin by scheduling a session and showing up exactly as you are. From there, we’ll take things one step at a time, together.
